    One thing I’ve noticed with a lot of the “journals” that have come on the market in the last few years is that they are really just productivity planners masquerading as a journal. While they certainly have a lot of value in helping you stay focused on your goals and giving some structure and consistency to your days, they are not really a journal in the sense of giving you a way to simply write about your life and experiences (ala the 750 words method or simply writing in a diary). I have yet to find a “journal” that combines those two functions in a way that serves both functions well.
