    Hey Jeff,

I really like this post! I’ve already done a couple variations of Bullet #2, “Write someone a ‘thank you’ letter for how they have helped
or inspired you in the past” this week and will also begin doing Bullet #3 “Write down 2-3 goals for the month”.

Thanks for the great ideas to help spark us to action!

    Take care,

    Scott

Great points! Question… why should I not check my email first thing in the morning? I do this, not every day, but most days.

    1. Everyday Power says:

When we start the day off checking our email we are doing 2 things. One, we are scrambling our brain first thing in the morning with info overload – most of it meaningless. Two, we are starting our day off focused on other peoples agendas. I believe, we should start our day off building up our foundation for the day, with clarity and focus!

      1. fitchick007 says:

That makes sense… so when is a good time?

      2. Everyday Power says:

I like around 11 AM and then again at 5 PM.

I would like to suggest meditate, even in a simple way, just stop during a walk, even in the city, try to listen to the sound of the birds, with closed eyes, and then another one, and then another, focusing only to them. After you have have different birdsounds, open your eyes and breathe, say thank you, I’m alive, thank you!

    🙂
