It is the unspoken language between all creations no matter who or what they believe in.

Spirituality language includes the Law of Attraction, Karma, Love, Kindness, and gratefulness.

Below are my 10 best books about spirituality and a brief description of each book.

I choose these books because they were highly influential in my spiritual growth.

I also, come back at least once a year to read these books over again.

10. The Shack by William P. Young

Spiritual and Religious Books For Creating More Inner Peace

A life changing event brings Mackenzie Allen Phillips to a place where he finds more than he expected.

Mack’s questions in order to discover what he has been searching for is similar to the questions we all ask on our path to self-discovery.

“Forgiveness in no way requires that you trust the one you forgive.” ― William Paul Young, The Shack

“Each relationship between two persons is absolutely unique. That is why you cannot love two people the same. It simply is not possible. You love each person differently because of who they are and the uniqueness that they draw out of you.” ― William Paul Young, The Shack

“Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is about letting go of another person’s throat……Forgiveness does not create a relationship.

Unless people speak the truth about what they have done and change their mind and behavior, a relationship of trust is not possible.

When you forgive someone you certainly release them from judgment, but without true change, no real relationship can be established………

Forgiveness in no way requires that you trust the one you forgive.

But should they finally confess and repent, you will discover a miracle in your own heart that allows you to reach out and begin to build between you a bridge of reconciliation………Forgiveness does not excuse anything………

You may have to declare your forgiveness a hundred times the first day and the second day, but the third day will be less and each day after, until one day you will realize that you have forgiven completely.

And then one day you will pray for his wholeness……” ― William Paul Young, The Shack

It feels like safety and warmth at one level, like coming home at another.” ― Deepak Chopra, Why Is God Laughing?: The Path to Joy and Spiritual Optimism

“Churchgoers feel righteous, responsible, and obedient to God’s will. They view anyone unlike themselves as devoid of values, and therefore unworthy of God’s love. By denying God to all those who have strayed from the path of righteousness, the devout are unwittingly taking on themselves a role that belongs only to God.” ― Deepak Chopra, Why Is God Laughing?: The Path to Joy and Spiritual Optimism

“How can you seek God if he’s already here? It’s like standing in the ocean and crying out, ‘I want to get wet.’ You want to get over the line to God. It turns out he was always there.” Francisco’s eyes began to gleam. “Grace comes to those who stop struggling. When it really sinks in that there’s nothing you can do to find God, he suddenly appears. But control of the mind is better and more difficult.”
